Founded in 1998 as a faith-based initiative, Society For The Living Foodbank began with a simple act of kindness: church members handing out hot meals to individuals experiencing homelessness in Toronto. What started as a small, grassroots outreach has grown into a dynamic, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity with compassion, dignity, and cultural relevance.
